A flavour of the 2011 Vegfest Ready Steady Chef pilot event, film presented and produced by Claire Evans. In 2012 a bigger free event as part of the Vegfest weekend festival at Harbourside is planned. Participation from restaurants, community chefs, schools and others is welcome, enquiries to [email protected]. Publicity before and after the event will be arranged. The Bristol premier of the half-hour feature film of last year's event followed by debate with Kerry McCarthy (Bristol East MP who recently tabled the Food Waste Bill) and others in the Bristol food scene is on June 8 2012 as part of Bristol's Big Green Week celebrations.
