One of the Polish bishops decided to buy an exclusive souvenir during a trip in Vatican. He chose a rosary made of white gold. Only after his return to Poland did he realize that the rosary was labeled ‘Made in Poland’. It turned out the rosary had been made in a company whose premises were only 200 metres away from the curia. Polish producers supply worshippers and churches all over the world in devotional articles. They offer everything: table cloths, candles, candlesticks, rosaries and other religious gadgets. "About 20,000 of such religious items are produced in Poland, they are made for every occasion. Although Italy is the leader of the devotional articles market, we are in the lead as well", says Zbigniew Aniołek, owner of a devotional articles warehouse in Częstochowa.
