I prefer Miller to Tusk

Our readers asked Chairman of the Law and Justice parliamentary club Przemysław Gosiewski 10 questions. Here are some of them.

Officials defeated the government

The government promised to economise and cut the number of administration officials. But as usual it has not kept its promises. The law that would allow the government to dismiss 10 percent of its officials came to nothing. It was blocked by ministries, offices and agencies, which flooded the Prime Minister’s Chancellery with comments and negative opinions. “Wprost24” discovered that as many as 49 of them voiced reservations!

A little bit of stabilization on the apartment market

A year and a half ago the apartments were expensive but the loans were cheap and easy to get. Nowadays the situation has changed with the apartments being much cheaper but with hardly anyone willing to help you finance it. And it seems that such a “stabilization” will be a long-term one. This is bad news for developers and investors, but good news for those looking for a home who have cash at hand.

The filthy, repulsive and evil MPs

Every authority has to have its scapegoat. During the communist times it was the small business owner, the antisocial element and the loafer. Nowadays they have been replaced by MPs. They are assigned to their positions by the prime minister, ministers, marshals and… MPs themselves.

A PiS MP snitched on the Sejm Speaker to ABW

Law and Justice MP Zbigniew Kozak snitched on Bronislaw Komorowski to the Internal Security Agency (ABW) – Wprost24 found. He wants the ABW to check whether the Sejm Speaker requested the MPs living in the Sejm hotel to be kept under surveillance.

The left-wing gets trained

This year some of the left-wing MPs will take part in media trainings, which are supposed to help the party improve its poll results – found Wprost24.

Gowin: I value fire brigades

I was raised among the common people. I would sometimes milk cows, work in the field. That is why I find a common language with my colleagues of the Polish Peasant Party. I also like to take part in harvest festivals. I feel great when I’m there. I value the fire brigade of the farmer’s wives’ association, said Jarosław Gowin of the Civic Platform to “Wprost”.
