“The ‘PGE Narodowy’ stadium – Poland’s go-to address for businesses in Poland” is one of your mottos. Is this venue of grand sporting and entertainment events conducive to business growth?
For our clients and business partners, the “PGE Narodowy” stadium is primarily a place which helps them push ahead with their businesses. The Conference Centre, the Business Club, the Gallery, the VIP Boxes – they all are a true magnet for entrepreneurs, exhibitors, and events’ organisers, because what we sell is not only a site for an event – we also sell attendance. We make events more successful, thanks to our strong brand, with the Stadium’s address in any invitation being a sure sign of success. Over a short period, “PGE Narodowy” stadium has earned a name as one of the most prestigious and recognisable brands in Poland. Our image positively impacts on that of our clients through the so-called halo effect, directly translating into marketing and sales results for our business partners.
During the last 5 years the “PGE Narodowy” stadium has hosted thousands of events. Is there any place left in your portfolio for new event formats? Any new challenges?
As can be seen by the scale of these events, we are still on a growth path. Recently, we’ve had the pleasure of hosting international conferences such as the COP-19, ERBD and, of course, the NATO Summit. On this last occasion, in 2016, a large congress centre, along with meeting rooms, were set up on the Stadium field. The VIP Boxes and the press centre turned into office space spanning an area of some 15 thousand sq. m for delegations from over 40 countries. The scale and variety of such events on the one hand demonstrate the potential and flexibility of the venue, while on the other hand they show the plethora of possibilities as regards the arrangement and combining of spaces. That is why the “PGE Narodowy” stadium effectively caters for the needs of the most demanding clients. There’s no such thing as “impossible” for us and I know that there is still a lot that we can do.
How is the “PGE Narodowy” stadium positioned on the Polish conference and congress market?
This market has undergone tremendous changes over the last few years. I am satisfied to see the increasingly better quality of the services offered by the “PGE Narodowy” stadium, as this is the key factor behind one’s decision on which venue to choose for a fair, a conference or a B2B meeting. When compared to hotels and regular congress centres, our Stadium is different, multifunctionality being its clear advantage. Congresses and fairs are held in the unique surroundings of a sporting venue bearing the elite title of a UEFA Elite Stadium. All that takes place here – football, volleyball and speedway games, music shows by world’s top artists – make for an excellent setting, and sometimes also a pretext, for establishing contacts and pursuing effective business networking. Other important factor is our location and one-of-a-kind infrastructure, including one of Warsaw’s largest underground car parks. Our experience helps us offer topclass services, providing events’ organisers not only with space but also security measures and assistance at every organisational stage. What’s also important, we offer all-round support with all things communications.
What is the foundation for the business philosophy of the “PGE Narodowy” stadium’s operator and the Pl.2012+ Company?
Every client is our business partner. We can guarantee to everyone flexible cooperation which paves the way for the best solutions. While working with the best, we also lend a hand to market newcomers who feel that the “PGE Narodowy” stadium is where they can spread their wings more than anywhere else. We are committed to partnering those who will join us in creating the uniqueness of the “PGE Narodowy” stadium.
