Experts seem to agree that this year will be ground-breaking for e-commerce, both in Poland and globally. For the first time ever, the number of online purchases made by smartphone and tablet users is expected to be higher than from stationary computers. By comparison, three years ago smartphone and tablet purchases accounted for as few as 35 percent.
The underlying question today no longer concerns price but rather the means of selling products. The Polish e-commerce market, which has continually developed since the late 1990s, has seen a number of companies rendering services in this field. However, reliable and trustworthy enterprises, employing an innovative attitude to customers and operating on the global markets, appear to be scarce. “When Poland was about to enter the international e-commerce domain, we had already been well acquainted with it”, says
Michał Grabka, President of Moleo sp. z o.o., a company operating in product promotion and distribution in 14 countries, including China and the USA. “A multi-trade profile is now the key to success. Being limited to one specific product category will hardly do the job.” Those producers who have explored all the sales opportunities offered in Poland, and are dreaming of entering foreign markets, are no longer forced to start from scratch and build their own e-commerce. They can benefit from the comprehensive services rendered by Moleo, ranging from product acceptance to sales. The company features its own translation and foreign-customer service department, as well as a logistic, transport and international forwarding base. Although the company has officially been operative since 2015, it benefits from the fourteen-year ecommerce experience of its staff. The businesses which have trusted Moleo do not regret that decision. One example is a company offering products for children, which had operated on the Polish market for 15 years until it had eventually exploited all the local opportunities. Then it decided to use Moleo’s support in launching its business on foreign markets. As a result, its turnover doubled as early as in the first year of such cooperation.
Wprost has also recognised the effectiveness of Moleo, granting it the prestigious Visionaries of the 21 st Century Award in 2016. As stated by the President of Moleo, the company is not even close to accomplishing its goals. “Our aim is to sell everything and everywhere, with the United Arab Emirates, Australia and Asia being our regions of interest. In 2018 we intend to reach over a million completed orders and become an important player on the domestic market”, stresses Michał Grabka. www.moleo.pl
