"We want to pose a question whether it was a coincidence. These people led a peaceful life and never came into conflict with the law. But as soon as they got involved into our campaign, they suddenly got beaten up and robbed," explained Jacek Kurski to “Wprost”. He said that the question would refer to four issues: assault on actress Anna Cugier-Kotka and burglary into Jarosław Kaczyński’s bureau and houses of Michał Balcerzak, who co-created PiS TV spots, and Marcin Szczudło, who headed the campaign.

Kaczyński and Balcerzak had their laptop computers stolen. The most bizarre was the burglary into the house of Szczudło. "A policeman said that it was done by professionals. Thieves did not leave a single fingerprint. They went through all documents and I still don’t know if they took anything or just took a look. They surely stole jewellery and a game console. But they left lots of precious things: home-cinema, new TV set and a watch," said Szczudło to “Wprost”.
