PiS MP was surprised and upset by the report written in "Rzeczpospolita". “I am in the party that reflects my ideals, but I obviously have certain reservations concerning its policy. Political and social issues have always been the most important to me and recently PiS seems to have forgotten about them, so I voiced my reservations. I hope that my colleagues take this into account soon,” he said. He also emphasised that the fact that he criticised the party did not imply that he wanted to leave PiS. “My statement was distorted,” he said firmly.

Tadeusz Cymański also referred to Stefan Niesiołowski’s invitation. Niesiołowski said to gover.pl that he would be happy to see Cymański in the Citizen Platform. "It is a rather peculiar invitation. I respect it, but PO is definitely not my piece of cake. I would say that it is a double kiss of death. Mr Niesiołowski is a famous PiS hater and I am still in this party," he said. The MEP also noticed that PO is the most liberal Polish party and this liberal bias is what bothers him the most in PiS. “I have always supported the policy of the social state and this is the idea that I serve. It is more important to me than important position and fame,” he added.
